Hey there!

You’re reading Creator IRL-a newsletter by Sapna Sinha that takes you behind the scenes of a creator’s journey. Every issue shares the real stories-the wins, the struggles, the messy middle-from creators building life on their own terms. Quietly, intentionally, and far from the highlight reels.

Let’s dive in.

The Mindset Shift Before The Tactics

Understand the shift. Vaishnavi stopped asking: "How do I get followers?" and started asking: "How do I build a system that converts attention into revenue?"

10,000 followers mean nothing if your DMs are empty. After ghostwriting 500+ posts and managing 10+ high-level clients at GrowthSquare, Vaishnavi reverse-engineered the "Inbound Engine."

Here is the 5-step framework she used to build a 6-figure business in 1.5 years.

Power your influence with Artha Job Board.

This newsletter is powered by Artha Job Board – the platform built for creator growth, effortless monetization, and consistent passive income.

With AI-powered tools, Artha helps creators turn their community into revenue streams that grow on autopilot.

Step 1: The High-Ticket Profile Audit

Your profile is your storefront.

And right now? Most profiles look like abandoned buildings.

Vaishnavi's "5-Second Rule":

If someone can't understand what you do, who you serve, and why they should care in 5 seconds—you've lost them.

Here's what she looks for when auditing a founder's profile:

➡️The Headline:

  • Does it clearly state the problem you solve?

  • Does it identify your target audience?

  • Does it differentiate you from everyone else saying "I help founders grow on LinkedIn"?

➡️The Banner: Add social proof (logos, metrics) and a clear UVP.

➡️The About Section: Don't list accomplishments. Tell a story.

Formula: Hook → Your Journey → The Proof → The Invitation (CTA).

Step 2: Narrative Sculpting (The "Anti-AI" Method)

Sterile ChatGPT content kills reach. Vaishnavi uses "Narrative Sculpting" to keep the human element:

Extract: Record yourself talking about a win/struggle and transcribe it. This is your "raw voice."

The 5-Part Post Structure:

  • The Hook: 3 seconds to stop the scroll.

  • Curiosity Gap: Create tension ("I realized everything I knew was wrong").

  • The Meat: Share a specific detail or framework.

  • Tactical Takeaway: One thing the reader can do today.

  • Conversation Starter: A question that invites a reply.

Step 3: The "Proof Bank" (Inventory > Inspiration)

Don't wait for inspiration. Build a "Proof Bank" folder with 4 categories:

  • Client Wins: Screenshots and metrics.

  • Personal Lessons: Mistakes and "Aha" moments.

  • Controversial Takes: Your unpopular opinions on your industry.

  • Frameworks: Your step-by-step systems. When you hit a block, pull a "cookie" from the bank. "Proof Posts" convert better than theory.

Step 4: Psychology-Based DM Transitions

Stop pitching. Start a conversation.

The Comment Reply: Don't just say "Thanks!" Give value. Position yourself as the expert in the thread.

The Bridge: After 2 exchanges, move to DMs with a Permission-Based question.

Script: "Hey [Name], loved your take on X. I recently solved that exact pain point—would you be open to me sharing the framework we used? No pitch, just think you’d find it valuable."

Step 5: Enrollment, Not Sales

When you get them on a call, stop pitching. Start diagnosing.

  • Phase 1 (Listen): Ask about their current situation and what hasn't worked.

  • Phase 2 (Diagnose): Share 2-3 observations. Based on what you said, here is the gap...

  • Phase 3 (Invite): I've solved this for others. Would you be open to exploring if this fit your situation?

Aim for 70% listening, 30% talking.

What's Next for Creator IRL

This is just the beginning. Creator IRL exists to celebrate the builders, the problem-solvers, the dedicated creators who are shaping our world one person at a time.

We're not interested in the highlight reels. We want the real stories. The messy beginnings. The moment of doubt. The simple message that changed everything.

If you know someone building something meaningful — not for the gram or the algorithm, but because it matters-we want to hear from them.
